AuraX
The problem. Fashion brands burn lakhs on every catalogue shoot. Models, studios, logistics & editing. Then they do it all again next month, & the month after.
What I built. AuraX. AI-generated catalogue shoots. The model, the garment, the set, all generated. 3× better, 10× faster, at a fraction of the cost. We built on diffusion models & got our virtual try-ons & human-image generation good enough to stand against Google, Stable Diffusion & MidJourney, before the frontier labs had really walked into the room.
Mensa, Aditya Birla Fashion Ventures, TMRW, SKORE & TTK Healthcare shipped with it. We raised ₹22L from IIIT Hyderabad's CIE, IIM Bangalore's NSRCEL & MEITY's TIDE 2.0. On the way out, we turned down ₹28.5L more.
The thinking. AuraX didn't begin as AI shoots. It started as VR for museums, became 3D & AR for e-commerce, then AI shoots. Each turn was the same instinct, sharpened by what the last one taught me. The hardest call wasn't building it; it was ending it. When the big labs shipped models I couldn't out-build & platforms sold the output for pennies, the honest move was to stop. Knowing when to walk away is its own kind of product sense.
